http://www.sbaacs.com More than 200 artisans set up along Cabrillo Boulevard every Sunday from 10 a.m. until dusk (also Saturdays on holiday weekends). The Arts and Crafts Show is a vaunted Santa Barbara tradition. Started in 1965, it continually offers something for everyone.

Artists must display original work, so alongside traditional seascape paintings, you might see solar-powered butterflies, headache-removing visors, and glass kaleidoscopes. Worth the trip just to people-watch. Tip: Take a break from the hullabaloo and watch the local shredders catch air at Skater’s Point, an adjacent skateboard park.
