Safari West

 :

Picture yourself among some of the world’s most exotic creatures. Come close with giraffes, gazelles, zebras and many of the other 600 animals that inhabit the preserve. Take an exciting three hour, safari drive and explore the wildlife preserve, traveling first in an authentic safari vehicle and then a trek around the inner grounds.

It may not be Africa, but it’s close! With animals roaming and running free outside your safari jeep this safari escape is the closest it comes without requiring a passport.

The wildlife park is designed to give the animals the ability to interact and roam about freely, as well as engage our guests in a once in a life time experience — an African luxury safari in the wine country.

Napa Valley

 :

We often hear people say they don't want to visit the wine country because they can't drink wine all day. We tell them not to be concerned, because the combination of superb weather, an educated population, and numerous art lovers is enough to drive lots of other activities. We list 10 of the best (in no particular order) below. 1. TAKE A SAFARI TOUR Located between Calistoga and Santa Rosa, Safari West maintains over 400 acres with some 350 species of animals. 2 ½ hour tours are led by a resident naturalists, with half the time being spent in an open-air safari vehicle, and half on foot.

Half Moon Bay

 :

Four miles of broad, sandy beaches stretch out to welcome visitors to Half Moon Bay. This picturesque setting is ideal for sunbathing, fishing and picnicking. A campground provides accommodations for those who wish to visit longer.

The beach is located a half-mile west of Highway 1 on Kelly Avenue in Half Moon Bay. There are three parking and beach access points:

Francis Beach, at the end of Kelly Avenue in the City of Half Moon Bay.
Venice Beach, at the end of Venice Boulevard off Highway 1.
Dunes Beach at the end of Young Avenue off Highway 1.

Golden Gate Bridge

 :

The Golden Gate Bridge is acclaimed as one of the world's most beautiful bridges and with its tremendous towers, sweeping main cables and great span, it is a sensory beauty featuring color, sound, and light. The Bridge can be a very busy place, particularly during the summer months. It is estimated that about nine million people from around the world visit the Bridge each year (1989 survey by San Francisco Convention and Visitor Bureau).

Big Sur

 :

Hike in forest trails of Big Sur or along beautiful beaches embraced by waves and mountains. Climb up on the high ridges for a spectacular view of the coastline on the western slope and gaze into three million acres of wilderness in the Las Padres National Forest on the eastern slope.

Lake Tahoe

 :

Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada mountains of the United States. It is located along the border between California and Nevada, west of Carson City, Nevada. The lake is known for the clarity of its water and the panorama of surrounding mountains on all sides. The area surrounding the lake is also referred to as Lake Tahoe, or simply Tahoe. It is home to a number of ski resorts, summer outdoor recreation, and tourist attractions.

Much of the area surrounding Lake Tahoe is devoted to the tourism industry and there are many restaurants, ski slopes and casinos catering to visitors.
